News from the Post:
- The first meeting of the year had a great turnout (17) and some exciting talk.
- Several members volunteered to serve as judges in the Division Oratorical Contest to be held Feb 16th at the NC Dept Hqtrs on
- Important decisions were made to sponsor a Legion Baseball Team and to negotiate with a willing coach applicant.

Our goal is to serve Veterans and their dependents, to contribute to our Garner community, and to enjoy the company of good friends. Our Post sponsors an American Legion Baseball team, encourages local students with Oratorical Contest scholarships, Boys State/Girls State, and the Student Trooper programs. Your member dues pay for these community projects. Where else can you help for only $25 a year?
